Dr. James Howton originally trained in Family Medicine and over time transitioned his practice to a Functional Medicine / regenerative medicine model. He began incorporating aesthetics into his practice in 2004, when patients who trusted him with their health began asking if he could help them with their external appearance.
His bias toward addressing the root causes of problems rather than covering up symptoms has also defined his practice of aesthetics and made him a leader and innovator in the field. Dr. Howton has been a speaker and trainer for a number of companies, including: Syneron/Candela, Zeltiq, and Thermi-Aesthetics. Together with his wife, Andrea, they founded ARTI (Aesthetic Research and Training Institute) and train physicians both nationally and internationally in advanced combination therapies for lasers and injectable modalities. His aesthetic practice, Restore Beauty, has been at the forefront of bringing new technologies to Northern Colorado, such as:
Dr. Howton and Andrea have assembled the treatments offered at Restore Beauty in a strategic fashion in order to best address the root causes of aesthetic concerns for their clients.
We spend time with our clients to both understand their needs and educate them regarding their treatment options. We incorporate all the key treatment modalities with a track record of efficacy into our practice, so that we can choose the right modality for each individual.
Dr. Howton supervises all the treatments performed by the aesthetic team at Restore Beauty, while he personally performs the following procedures:
Dr. Howton’s ideal aesthetic client is someone who wants a long-term partnership with their physician, someone who wants to address the root causes of their concerns and who wants to age naturally and gracefully while being at their best both internally and externally. It is someone who does not want to look artificial or done-up, while at the same time being someone who embraces technology and cutting-edge advances in medicine and aesthetics.

Katie is thrilled to be working with such amazing people at Restore Beauty. She started working at Restore Beauty in January 2019 after years of being a Stay-at-home mom, Business Owner and Non-Profit Leader in Northern Colorado. Being new to the beauty industry is a welcomed challenge for Katie as she thrives on change and constant learning. “Working at Restore Beauty and getting to meet the most amazing people each day is truly a blessing. Our clients are not just beautiful on the outside, they truly have wonderful and beautiful hearts and it’s such a pleasure to get to know them.”
You can often find Katie hanging out with her amazing husband and high school daughter kayaking, hiking or watching musicals. She misses her son who is attending college in Arizona and her favorite pastime is throwing her hair in a ponytail and snuggling on the couch with her Australian Cattle Dog, Trina.
Delia has been working at Restore Beauty for four years and loves being on the front lines of the beauty industry. Her favorite aspect of working at Restore Beauty is knowing that she can help people age gracefully and feel beautiful. She also enjoys working with her fellow employees. “I love working here because I love the people that I work with, and Dr. Howton is amazing at everything he does,” she explains.
Working previously in the hospitality industry for six years prepared Delia for working with all of the amazing patients she sees daily at Restore Beauty, helping her to perfect her customer service skills. She is also a Spanish-speaking customer service representative, which makes her invaluable to the team.
Born in Rock Springs, WY, she lived in Juarez, Mexico, until the age of 12 and then moved to New Mexico. Since that time she has also lived in Vail, Hawaii, Colorado Springs, Arlington (VA), and now Loveland, CO. When she’s not busy helping customers at Restore Beauty, she is spending time with her husband, two little boys, ages 2 and 6, and their pit bull mix, Diamond.
