Dr. James Howton originally trained in Family Medicine and over time transitioned his practice to a Functional Medicine / regenerative medicine model. He began incorporating aesthetics into his practicein 2004, when patients who trusted him with their health began asking if he could help them with their external appearance.
His bias toward addressing the root causes of problems rather than covering up symptoms has also defined his practice of aesthetics and made him a leader and innovator in the field. Dr. Howton has been a speaker and trainer for a number of companies, including: Syneron/Candela, Zeltiq, and Thermi-Aesthetics. Together with his wife, Andrea, they founded ARTI (Aesthetic Research and Training Institute) and train physicians both nationally and internationally in advanced combination therapies for lasers and injectable modalities. Dr. Howton and Andrea have assembled the treatments offered at Restore Beauty in a strategic fashion in order to best address the root causes of aesthetic concerns for their clients.

With more than 20 years of marketing and senior management experience in the health, wellness, and aesthetic industries, Andrea Howton offers unique insight and expertise. She is a co-founder of Restore Wellness Group, which includes Restore Health and Restore Beauty.
In her varied and successful career as a business development consultant, she has created visionary strategies and practical, effective solutions to either launch or re-energize aesthetic and medical facilities all over the world. She understands the needs of aesthetic and wellness businesses, their clients, and the best ways to grow the bottom line while enhancing patient satisfaction.
During her most recent engagement as Chief Operating Officer of VitalLife Scientific Wellness and Esperance Integrative Cancer Centers, both affiliates of Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, Andrea was responsible for market development in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, direct and indirect sales channel management, product and service development, and strategic marketing.
Her practical knowledge and engaging communication style make her a sought-after speaker and educator at industry events.
Joni Qualm, RN, joined the Restore Beauty team in 2017 after her time spent in rural women’s health. She graduated from nursing school in 2014, and then practiced nursing while pursuing one of her dreams, to be Miss Rodeo Nebraska. After competing and winning Miss Rodeo Nebraska for 2015, she spent the entire year traveling and volunteering at agricultural events and rodeos all across the United States. She then competed at the Miss Rodeo America pageant in Las Vegas, where she received the Top 10 award for 2016. While traveling the country with numerous other young women during that year, Joni found one of her passions to be skin care and Functional Medicine. She spent most of 2016 interning with dermatologists, aestheticians, and health and wellness doctors, and she gave back through volunteer programs geared toward young women.
Throughout her time at Restore Beauty, Joni has taken specialty training with world-renowned plastic surgeons, and with nurse injectors all across the country to further advance her injectable expertise. Her favorite procedures are She focuses on holistic medicine, and her favorite procedures are injectables, Viveve, and hair restoration.
Joni enjoys spending time in the mountains, or back in the Sandhills of Nebraska on her family’s Angus cattle and Quarter Horse ranch. She also enjoys traveling the world with her husband, cooking, yoga, going to concerts, and hunting and fishing. Joni continues to give back to Nebraska’s Rodeo Queen pageants and likes to judge at other pageants all across the United States. She currently resides in Denver, Colorado.
Leslie joined Restore Beauty in 2015 after graduating from Hair Dynamics in Fort Collins Co and receiving her State License in Esthetics and certifications in microdermabrasion and chemical peels. She went on to attend Rocky Mountain Laser College in Denver Colorado, one of the oldest and most respected laser colleges in the country, where she earned a diploma in 2016 as a Certified Laser Specialist. In addition to this, Leslie’s passion for skin care took her on to study at the prestigious International Dermal Institute (IDI) where she earned a post graduate diploma in Aesthetics in 2017 with concentration in cosmetic ingredients, treating skin conditions and concerns and advanced massage techniques.
In addition to her experience in Aesthetics, Leslie brings 30 years of experience in business management; where she received numerous awards for customer service excellence and client programimprovements.
She is an avid equestrian and cyclist (warm weather only please). She enjoys cooking, theater and gardening. She is also an accomplished musician and has shared the stage with many talented musicians including Jazz Legend Buster Williams.
Leslie spends much of her free time volunteering for Genisis Project, an outreach program for disenfranchised. She believes that “to much that is given much is required”.
She lives in Fort Collins with her dog Squirt.
Kirsten joined Restore Beauty in late 2019 as a licensed Esthetician. She graduated from White Magnolia Advanced Skin Care Institute with a passion for helping others feel their absolute best. During her schooling, she became certified in microdermabrasion, waxing, facials, chemical peels, microneedling, and dermaplaning.
Her love for aesthetics began when she was just 16. Ever since then, she’s been working towards her goal of working in a medical spa. She’s always eager to educate herself further so that she is able to give her clients the best results possible.
When she’s not doing services at work, Kirsten enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, and camping. She is also an avid cook and foodie. She lives in Windsor, CO with her cat, Bullet, and dog, Ghost.
Delia has been working at Restore Beauty for four years and loves being on the front lines of the beauty industry. Her favorite aspect of working at Restore Beauty is knowing that she can help people age gracefully and feel beautiful. She also enjoys working with her fellow employees. “I love working here because I love the people that I work with, and Dr. Howton is amazing at everything he does,” she explains.
Working previously in the hospitality industry for six years prepared Delia for working with all of the amazing patients she sees daily at Restore Beauty, helping her to perfect her customer service skills. She is also a Spanish-speaking customer service representative, which makes her invaluable to the team.
Born in Rock Springs, WY, she lived in Juarez, Mexico, until the age of 12 and then moved to New Mexico. Since that time she has also lived in Vail, Hawaii, Colorado Springs, Arlington (VA), and now Loveland, CO. When she’s not busy helping customers at Restore Beauty, she is spending time with her husband, two little boys, ages 2 and 6, and their pit bull mix, Diamond.
