Who should choose Waxing over Laser Hair Removal?
Laser Hair removal is not recommended for individuals with darker skin or light hair. Waxing is an ideal hair removal option for those who are looking for low-cost option, are not candidates for laser hair removal or are looking for lesser hair over time.
How should I prepare for Waxing?
Clean Skin: Ensure your skin is clean and free of lotions, creams or make-up.
No Tan: Avoid tanning, including tanning sprays, before your waxing service. If your skin is sunburned or irritated, your wax specialist will not be able to perform the treatment
Medications: Please advise us of any medications you take. Some acne medications can cause skin irritations when brought in contact with waxing products.
What can I expect after Waxing?
Your skin will be soft and smooth. We recommend the following aftercare:
- Depending on the body area, you will begin to see regrowth after 2-3 weeks. But with regular waxing the density of the hair will decrease.
- Avoid direct sun exposure, including sunbeds
- SPF 30+ is highly recommended
- Avoid swimming in chlorinated or salt water
- Keep the skin hydrated between waxes, which helps restore the stressed skin
