About FaceTite
The FaceTite™ is the most advanced facial contouring and skin tightening treatment available. It provides dramatic improvement in skin laxity and sagging on face and neck with only one treatment. FaceTite™ is the perfect one-time treatment for sagging jowls and cheeks, double chin, turkey neck, as well as face and neck wrinkles.
The FaceTite™ treatment is done under local anesthesia for patient comfort, is minimally invasive and takes about an hour, resulting in fat contraction and tightening of the skin. What can I expect during the FaceTite treatment?
Once the skin is fully anaesthetised, the treatment will begin. The treatment involves a small metal probe being inserted under the skin to deliver heat energy to the treatment area. Normally patients will not feel any pain or discomfort during the treatment. FaceTite can take 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the area to be treated. During the treatment you can talk and listen to music. If you wish, you can bring a friend with you.

What can I expect immediately after FaceTite?
The most common side-effects are swelling, redness and bruising. In some cases, patients may also experience some soreness, tenderness or numbness for several weeks after treatment. These are not permanent and resolve within weeks of treatment.
You will need to wear a compression garment for the first 48 hours following the FaceTite procedure. This will not only help to reduce swelling but will give extra support to the face and the neck.
During the first 48 hours, you should avoid vigorous physical activities. You should also avoid wearing makeup while the compression garment is still on.

When will I see Results?
You will notice some immediate improvement right after the treatment. Most patients will see significant improvement at 1-3 months and optimal improvement at 6 months after treatment. Results last for 5-7 years.

How do I prepare for my FaceTite treatment?
Our medical team will discuss your medical history and any steps that you need to take to prepare for the treatment during your consultation appointment.
In general, we recommend that you are well-hydrated on the day of treatment and that you are not currently pregnant, breastfeeding or trying for a pregnancy.
I have been ‘blessed’ with a double chin from both of my parents. No matter how much weight I lost, it never went away. As I got older jowls started to form and my double skin started to sag. Initially I wanted CoolSculpting but Joni explained to me that this will most likely make my sagging double chin worse. She recommended FaceTite to remove the fat and tighten the skin.
Dr. Howton performed the treatment. He explained everything before getting started and talked to me throughout the treatment. What was amazing, I could actually hear the fat pop. Because I had quite a bit of fat under my chin, he also used his liposuction device to remove additional fat and to give me the more defined jawline I wanted. I felt no pain during the treatment. After about 2 hours, I was on my way home with a compression garment around my jawline and neck.
My lower face and neck were swollen for a few days and felt quite tender, but nothing that an Aleve could not resolve. I just had my 3-months follow up and looked at my old pictures. What a difference! I think I look 10 years younger. Love it!
